Itinerary

Depart Kampala for Lake Mburo National Park after you have had your breakfast. Then drive to the park with a stop at the equator for an opportunity to stand in both the northern and southern hemispheres at the same time. Then proceed through the savannah grasslands, as you see banana plantations and herds of local long horned Ankole cattle common to this part of the country. On arrival at the park check in at the lodge reserved for you, have lunch after which you will go for a boat launch on Lake Mburo to see animals like the hippos, crocodiles and various bird species. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight

Wakeup early and have time to take a warm cup of tea before you head for a game drive through the park in search of game like the zebras, hippos, crocodiles, elands, antelopes, impalas and a variety of bird species. After you will return to your lodge for breakfast and then head for a nature walk with an experienced guide as you walk to the salt lick area which offers a chance to see at least four different species of animals. You will return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

After Breakfast you will head for the horseback ride for less hours, to see the animals at close range while on the horse after which you will head back have your lunch meal and check out to start return journey to Kampala arriving in the late afternoon.
